“Last year me and my partner were both sophomores in our first year of Decca at KP. We ended up making it all the way to ICDC with a project on an animal hospital from my hometown (Wrentham). We did great at ICDC and won 2nd place glass in operations BOR! We almost didn’t make it out of districts, but we did due to a confusion. We used that motivation to work hard and ultimately achieve our goal and winning deca glass”

What would you want to tell younger members?

“I suggest to spend lots of time working on your manual and getting other peoples opinions on it. The more ideas the better. Spend lots of time working on your script as well, because that is very important when it comes to presenting.”
