Caitlyn Cargile
Hello Mass DECA! My name is Caitlyn Cargile and I am a senior at Needham High School. I am a proud 3rd year DECA member and I am so excited and honored to be serving Massachusetts DECA on State Action Team 68!
When I first joined DECA my sophomore year, I had no idea what to expect, nor did I understand how important this organization would become to me. From meeting amazing people, to competing in events that challenged me in new ways, and making countless memories, DECA has helped me find my voice and shaped me into the person that I am today. After realizing how special DECA truly is, I encouraged people in my school and chapter to become more involved with DECA, helping to nearly double my chapter’s membership. Since then, I have qualified for ICDC in Principles of Hospitality and Tourism (PHT) and currently serve as the co-president of Needham DECA.
I decided to run for state office so that every member has access to all that Massachusetts DECA has to offer and can make the very most of their DECA experience. I am thrilled to be stepping into a leadership role where I can encourage members to push themselves and take advantage of every opportunity.
Outside of DECA, I am very involved in my school and local communities. I am on the cheer and golf team, compete in Mock Trial, teach swim lessons, and work at a daycare after school. I also founded a Women in Business club at my school where I serve as the co-president. In my free time, I love to swim, go shopping, hang out with my friends, and go to the beach.
I am beyond grateful for this opportunity and I can’t wait to see all that is in store for Mass DECA this year! Don’t hesitate to reach out to me at @deca.caitlyn, I look forward to an amazing year!
