Caroline Curley

Hello Mass DECA! My name is Caroline Curley, and I am a senior at Barnstable High School. I am deeply honored to be one of your Team 67 Officers and thrilled to take on this leadership role. From forging new relationships to challenging myself in unique ways, DECA has had a profoundly lasting impact on my life. Now, I can barely wait to assist in bringing the same experience to others across the state.

Outside of DECA, I am a middle child with two sisters, Grace and Isla, who are both members of DECA. Whether we're studying for roleplays or swapping bits of info about our conferences, DECA has become something that brings us together even more. When I'm not completely immersed in all things DECA, you can catch me hanging out with friends, going to the beach, or doordashing a sweet treat.

My passion for DECA never truly began with a big win. In fact, I did not make it to the State Career Development Conference following my first district competition. What inspired me then was my peers celebrating what I had accomplished, not what I didn’t accomplish. I realized that DECA is not about medals but about progress, professionalism, and being among others who believe in you. That moment transformed everything and motivated me to continue to be engaged, diligent, and gain self-confidence.

Now, I am grateful beyond measure to have the chance to be a leader in this incredible organization. I hope to be someone who motivates, inspires, and guides every member that I meet. Whether you are in your first year or last year in DECA, I hope to make this the best year ever, and please don’t be shy to reach out to @deca.carolinecurley. Let’s make this one to remember Mass DECA!
