Kaylin LaVault

Hello Mass DECA! My name is Kaylin LaVault, I am a rising senior and third year member from Algonquin Regional, and I am honored to be a part of your State Action Team 68!

My first year in DECA I was lucky enough to attend ICDC, and it was there that I realized DECA had so much more to offer than just competition. Sitting at a table with girls from all over the country, I found not only a lifelong support network, but also role models. Every person I met and story I heard that year changed who I am as a person and leader. Those experiences inspired me to want to have the same impact and create the same opportunities for other members. As a state officer, my goal is to make sure every member gets more out of this club than just competitive wins- personal growth, permanent connections, and incredible lasting memories!

Outside of DECA, I stay involved in my school community, serving as my class treasurer, volunteering for various organizations, playing lacrosse, and more! When I'm not in school, I love to try new recipes and spend time baking or cooking. You can usually find me hanging out with my friends or trying new hobbies whenever I can (my latest obsession has been diamond art). While the beach and pool are a few of my favorite places, I definitely prefer winter. I love to go skiing with my family, and I am constantly looking forward to the holiday season!

I can't wait to get to know all of you this year and make the most out of what this club has to offer. Please feel free to reach out or say hi on Instagram @deca.kaylinlavault! Let's have an amazing year
