Maggie lewinsky

Hello Mass DECA! My name is Maggie Lewinsky and I am a senior at Nipmuc Regional High School. I joined DECA my freshman year, making a last minute call to compete in hotel and lodging management. As the year progressed, I continued qualifying in competition and grew more and more interested in DECA itself. 

Throughout my DECA journey, I have gained irreplaceable leadership skills, cultivating my love for working and listening to others. Through Nipmuc DECA, my home chapter, I've held various positions such as member of the  social media team, VP of hospitality, and Co-President. Working with students at each level of involvement is my favorite part about DECA. 

Running and having the privilege of becoming an elected state officer is an honor, and a capstone for my DECA journey overall. DECA has been my second home throughout my highschool years, and I look forward to sharing that with each and every one of our members. 

The skills and friendships I've gained throughout my time both inside and outside of DECA are irreplaceable to my character today. Alongside my role in the DECA organization, I work a part time job in a restaurant, dance recreationally, and volunteer through a youth in service group; going on volunteer trips each summer. 

I look forward to serving all of my peers throughout this year, and I am honored to hold this position.
