Ryan Latchford

Hello everyone, my name is Ryan Latchford and I am a senior at Burlington High school. Burlington is pretty much a suburb town with a decent mall and a few nice restaurants. Other than that, it’s nothing too special. However, my life is far from normal. As the oldest of six children, I pretty much was forced into developing leadership characteristics from an early age. Dealing with siblings as annoying as mine, I also developed an immense amount of patience. If coming from a large family has taught me anything, it’s that everyone has their own ways of going about life and respecting that is the key to getting along with people. Growing up, my dad would always drive me around the town he worked in and introduce me to tons of people every day. I guess that was what made me love meeting people so much. It really is my favorite thing to do and I am tremendously grateful that DECA has given me so many opportunities to do so. Aside from that, In my free time, I enjoy playing sports and going skiing or golfing with my friends. I play football in the fall and do track in the winter and spring. I am also a black belt in kenpo karate. With this position, I am looking forward to continuing to get to know more people and give back to the organization that has given me so much. I will do whatever I can to contribute and make Mass DECA better than ever before. With that being said, please feel free to reach out to me and tell me what you want to see from team 68 on Instagram @deca.latch.
