Hello Mass DECA!!!

My name is Aradhya Garg and I am a senior at Franklin High School. This is my fourth year as a DECA member and I am excited to serve all of you and make this a most memorable DECA year!

My DECA journey started Freshman year, where at my District Conference I fell in love with DECA. Since then, I have placed twice at States in the Independent Business Plan category (my favorite because it captures all aspects of business) and have attended both virtual and in-person ICDC. In my chapter I have served as the Finance Director and worked with the Franklin DECA team to deliver a highly memorable year to my chapter members; I am hoping to do the same with Mass DECA.

Outside DECA, I am highly involved in my school and community. I am my school’s Student Government Treasurer and am involved in various other activities like Young Investors Society, Robotics, NHS, and I used to run Track. I am also an executive for a global non-profit, KidsCapital Inc., that works to increase financial/economic literacy in K-12 students. Outside school, I love hanging out with friends, eating amazing food, and traveling.
