Hello Mass DECA!

My name is Tommy Gallagher. I am a senior at Burlington High School, and I am very excited to be working with all of you as one of your Team 64 State Officers. This is now my fourth year as a DECA member. I served as vice-president of my chapter this past year and currently serve as co-president. 

I learned about DECA as an incoming freshman, but I had no idea what it was. Out of luck, I competed at SCDC in entrepreneurship team decision-making that same year and learned how awesome DECA is. In sophomore year I made it to virtual ICDC and placed 7th in entrepreneurship. Still, the virtual competition made it clear to me how much we needed a return to the in-person competition to network with people and have fun again. That’s why I ran for State Officer this past year, and I am so happy to be serving all of you this upcoming year. I am here to work for all of you and I can’t wait.

Outside of DECA, you can catch me making sandwiches at work, finding my next investment, and hanging out with my friends. My personal goals are to make money which is why I’m either grinding out 25 hours a week at work or buying and trading stocks on my Schwabb account.
