Ella Fisher (she/her)

Hey Mass DECA! My name is Ella Fisher and I am a senior at Apponequet Regional High School. I have been actively engaged in DECA since my freshman year, and I am thrilled to now be serving on Team 64!

When I joined DECA my freshman year and decided to compete in Principles of Finance, I had no clue what to expect. After taking first place overall at my district competition, I knew it was for me. Since my sophomore year, I have participated in the Personal Financial Literacy event, competing at district, state, and national levels. At Apponequet, I served as the President of our schools chapter my sophomore and junior years, and then my complete love for DECA led me to want to run for state office.

Outside of DECA, I have been a Class Representative for 3 years. Within my Student Council, I have served as the head of our donation association and I am currently the Executive Board Data Analyst. I am also a member of the National Honor Society, and the Laker Leaders (a group of upperclassmen who seek to help younger students adapt to high school). Presently, I am enrolled in five AP classes, and I work extremely hard to successfully balance a rigorous course load with all of the other activities that I take part in. Throughout high school, I have played on multiple sports teams, but recently began playing field hockey year round in attempts to prepare to play in college.

In my (limited) free time, you can find me hanging out with friends and family, going to the gym, playing with my two labs, and occasionally taking a nice, long nap. Currently, I also spend a lot of free time looking at colleges, where I plan to pursue financial planning/analysis or financial law.

I am dedicated to Mass DECA, and I am determined to do whatever it takes to improve our association. If you want to learn more about me or my ideas, visit me on instagram @ellafiisher or @deca.ellafisher. I am honored to be serving on Team 64, and I can’t wait to see what this year has to bring!
